The Moranbah Arts Council Meetings are held at the Arts Council Gallery Building and the Gentle Craft Club building off Bacon St, behind the Youth Centre on the First Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm. Membership forms are available at all Arts Council performances and Arts Council meetings.

- The Moranbah Arts Council is seeking members with arts-related ideas, energy and enthusiasm and those with even a glimpse of an interest in the arts. Art is not necessarily about excelling. It doesn't just encompass 'painting and performances'. It's not totally about the end product, it's about the creativity, the sharing of ideas and stories as well as a wonderful social gathering. The Moranbah Arts Council exists for our community. We support arts-related projects, ideas, workshops and arts workers who are looking for an opportunity to immerse themselves in their arts form and to introduce it to, and include others init. We assist in bring wonderful performances to the town. We organise and co-ordinate many of the exhibitions you can see throughout the year at the Coalface Gallery.
